How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

First you get out your bread.  I prefer 100% whole wheat.  Set it on a level counter or table top.  Make sure the surface is not wet or your bread will get soggy.

Next you want to take out your peanut butter.  I like all natural peanut butter but am tired of paying $8 for a jar.  So I use generic extra crunchy!

Take a butter knife and spread a large amount of peanut butter on one side of one piece of bread.  Make sure to spread it out all the way to the edges.

Now take your jelly (I like grape or apple) and use the same butter knife to gather a moderate or large amount of jelly - which ever you prefer.

Now here is the tricky part.  The jelly will want to roll off of your knife causing great frustration so use caution.  Now it's also difficult to spread the round clumps of jelly on the bread so be patient with this - you don't want to rush into things - especially if this is your sandwich.

Now after the jelly is nicely spread place the peanut butter piece of bread on top of the jelly piece.  Do this also with care or your jelly might fall on the ground or table causing more frustration.

Next - enjoy!  I like mine with either milk or coffee.
