A nurse was at work the other night in the charting room doing some charting when he over heard the most hilarious conversion. By the way, it was 3:45 AM! And it was between a resident and a worker. The worker has a hearing aid in each ear that does not help her. The worker was sitting behind the counter at the nurses station and the resident walked up to her and the conversation went as follows:
Resident: Can you tell me where the garage is?
Worker: Excuse me, I did'nt hear what you said!
Resident: Can you please tell me where the garage is?
Worker: Quarter of four!
Resident: Quarter of four? What is that supposed to mean? (perplexed)
Worker: (very sincere) That's what time it is!!
Resident: Oh my God!! (shaking her head and walking away)
The look on this residents face was the funniest thing I have ever seen. It was like "what kind of place am I in here?" I laughed so hard I really hurt myself.
I know it can't be as funny as if you where there, but I hope you enjoyed this version half as much as hearing it first hand.
